The Waste and Recycling Industry Code of Practice provides practical\, industry-specific guidance to help businesses understand and meet their obligations under the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility. This free one-day training is designed for people across the waste and recycling supply chain who influence truck movements\, transport arrangements and operational safety — from waste generators\, councils and sales teams through to operational\, safety and executive management. \nWho should attend?\nThis training is relevant to anyone whose decisions can influence the movement of waste by heavy vehicle\, including: \n\nWaste generators and customers\nCouncil personnel\nSales and account managers\nBusiness owners and executives\nOperational and transport managers\nSafety and compliance personnel\nSupervisors\nLoaders and receiving facility personnel\n\nChain of Responsibility means heavy vehicle safety does not sit with the driver or transport manager alone.
