WRIQ Jobseeker Webinar: More than you Think: Lifting the lid on careers in waste and recycling

The waste and recycling industry is one of Queensland’s essential services. Stable, recession-resistant and offering a wide range of career pathways that many job seekers don’t realise exist.

This free online webinar is for job seekers who are:

• leaving school, TAFE or are new to the workforce
• considering a career change
• looking for steady, long-term employment
• early in their working lives and exploring industry options
• curious about industries they may not have previously considered
• No prior experience in waste and recycling is required.

While the session will be most relevant to drivers, trades and operational job seekers, it will also cover office-based and professional roles across the sector. The industry employs thousands of Queenslanders across operational, technical, mechanical, compliance and office-based roles and continues to experience strong workforce demand.
